Shootsac!

Ok, so I have been wanting a Shootsac for  a LONG time...like really long. Ever since I stumbled across them on Jessica Claire's Blog (who, I might add is an amazing photographer). So, I finally saved up enough $$ to buy one! And...o-my-gosh I don't know HOW I lived WITHOUT one! Ahh! It makes changing lenses SOOOO much easier and faster. I can't wait to use it more! Anyway...here are a few photos of it =D

Just got the box in the house...and just before un-boxing it...it was like Christmas morning! =D

the shootsac's come with a black cover but I got an extra cover to go with mine...I had such a hard time choosing it...there are soooo many pretty ones!

woot! official Shootsac logo

ready to go! Got a couple lenses in there and ready for a test run!

Sheboygan County Fair 2009

I can't believe that August was here and gone. The summer seems to have ran away...again! It seems that every year the time between memorial day and labor day gets shorter...even though it doesn't. I love labor day weekend...because its our county fair weekend! I brought horses to the fair for over 10 years thanks to the Sheboygan County Horse and Pony Project. So, now after I graduated from 4-H I still somehow end up spending 4 days at the fair! But, this year I made sure to bring my trusty Canon with me =) I got some cool shots...well, at least, I think so!!

Jasmine | Senior 2010

This past weekend I had the pleasure of shooting Jasmine's photos. She is a senior at Plymouth High School. Jasmine and her mom were troopers this past Saturday! It ended up raining for about the last hour of our shoot =( buuuuuttttt I was still able to get some gorgeous images!! =) So despite the rain and cold and wind it was a fun photo shoot! We started out in Plymouth, then headed to an amazing garden in the Kiel area, swung around to Sheboygan and last, but not least, went to Terry Andrea park.
Definately one of my fav's...I LOVE the colors

Yes...we both laid on the ground for this shot =)

Love the smile and laughter!! (apparently she doesn't like her photo taken....I think she does!)

Tom | Senior 2010

Helllooo!!! This is Tom, he is a Senior this year at Sheboygan Falls High School...which by the way...I can't BELIEVE that he is a senior already. Dang. I have known Tom his whole life. CRAZY...how time flies. Anyway, we spent the afternoon touring Plymouth and Sheboygan to find some neat spots. Here are a few of my fav's from the day!

Probably one of my top picks....both above and below =)

I REALLY like this road in Sheboygan...it makes for wonderful pictures

There is even an old building along this road....I love it. ahh....I think I could take pictures of it all day long!

Another couple of my favorites...I just can't choose one!

Alex Emmer | Senior 2010

On August 15th I also had the pleasure of shooting 2010 Senior Alex Emmer. We had the photo shoot a little later in the evening, which was a good thing because it was stiffling hot that day! Here are a few photos from the evening's shoot:

This is one of my favorites!
Even though the sun was bright I love what the wind did with her hair!

Project Youth Bike, Skate and Scooter Competition 2009

August 15th was a very busy day for me! I had a great opportunity to photograph some of Sheboygan's youth doing what they do best...skate, bike and scooter!! This was amazing to watch these kids doing flips and jumps among other stuff on thier scooters, bikes and skate boards. I had a ton of fun shooting these photos...I hope you enjoy them as much as I do!
Check out the air on that scooter!!

Sliding on the railing...something I know I couldn't do!!

Open 4-H Speed Show

On Saturday August 1st, I had the chance to spend the day up at the Fairgrounds taking pictures for the Sheboygan County 4-H Open Speed Show. It was very interesting for me because when I was showing horses I did not show speed, although I thought it looked quite fun, I knew that my horse was not fast enough for racing around barrels and poles. Here are a few of my favorites from the day:
