whew. what a crazy couple of weeks it has been!
Ashley & Tim got married.
Mike & I got married.
AND
Jesse & Liz got married.
3 weekends in a row.
love, love, love it.
I was fortunate enough to have Mike with me at Ashley & Tim's wedding in Chippewa Falls on May 14th.
just a little bit of history here...Chippewa Falls is where Leinenkugel Beer is brewed.
and my FAVORITE beer is half of a honey wiess mixed with half of a berry wiess and a lemon.
that, my friends makes a Honey Bear.

we almost went on a tour of the Leine Lodge...but we decided to try a local restaurant called Loopy's Grill & Saloon instead.
side note...if you are EVER in Chippewa. go to Loopy's. soooo good.
anyway,
unfortunately for us the weather was totally not cooperating on Saturday.
cold. and rainy.
boo.
but...the best words I can ever hear any bride say is
"It doesn't matter what its doing outside, we are getting married today!"
love. that. attitude.
we started out the day at the Garage Salon in downtown Chippewa Falls where the girls got their hair done. It was SUCH a cute salon. very vintage and adorable.
Ashley chose to wear flowers in her hair instead of a veil!
soooo vintage and adorable.
after that we the girls went to get their makeup done while Mike and I went to scope out the church and some other places for photos...that is if the rain would have stopped.
what an amazing old church, huh?! I LOOOOVE old churches like this one. there is just so much character to them.
We met back up with both the guys and gals soon after that. Mike stayed with the guys in the church while I went over to the school next to the church with the gals.
Ashley's dress was gorgeous!
and so were the flowers...I just love the way the pink colors pop out! it was a super fun detail to make the dreary day that much brighter.
soon it was time to hustle over to the church where the ceremony took place.
I think they are excited :D

after the ceremony we attempted to take some portraits outside at Irvine Park. unfortunately the rain started back up again so we were only able to take a few before heading back onto the party bus.
after that we headed to the reception. where we got some great detail shots and some shots of just Ashely and Tim.
after that it was time for some yummy food and dancing the night away!
first dance...complete with twirls, dips and kisses.
let me just tell you...these people know how to bust a move! loved all of the dancing!
