The Osinski's | Married | Milwaukee Wedding & Portrait Photographer

as I sit here typing this now the snow is beginning to fall outside. Pandora is playing Taylor Swift, Keith Urban, Paramore, Luke Bryan, and a bunch of other music. strange mix...but I love it. the forecast is calling for 16-20" of the white fluffy stuff over the next couple of days. do I really WANT the snow...well, kinda sorta. I want the snow because it keeps our house warmer (weird I know...its an insulator because we don't have much in the walls...yet.) and because there is a possibility that I won't be able to get out and go to work in the morning. THAT would be awesome. I have a laundry list of a WHOLE bunch of stuff to do and an extra day off would be fabulous. somehow...I have a feeling I will still be getting up in the morning to try and brave the drive into work.
on a brighter note...I have some fabulous photos for you to look at :) these photos are from another wedding that I second shot with Kayla.this wedding was in August in Milwaukee. it was a hot and sticky out, the church was kind of dark, and the park we went to...infested with mosquitoes. but, we did get some great shots...and I have to say that the bridal party was one of the funnest of the summer. and I'm not just saying that because one of the bridesmaids looked like Katy Perry :D

 gorgeous flowers

I am seriously loving the vintage action that I have for photoshop :) I just love the way it makes this photo look
 loved these flowers! SO colorful!

Foto Friday | Sheboygan Wedding & Portrait Photographer

Happy Friday! What. A. Week. I think this week has been the longest so far this year. I don't know but it juuuuusssstttt did not go fast. Sigh. So, lets hope the weekend continues the trend and goes slow :) because I have LOTS to do! Lots to edit & blog. Lots to get ready for our wedding. Lots to get ready for Quiz Bowl practice. And LOTS of laundry to fold. That is kind of a big list. Maybe I should just hope for no procrastination this weekend :) Sometimes I wish I was a dog like Tucker...because then it wouldn't matter what I did. And, lets be honest here, going for a walk or car ride would totally be the highlight of the day :) As I sit here typing he is laying here snoozing...so cute

oh to have the life of a dog :)

I hope everyone has a great weekend!

Foto Friday | Sheboygan Wedding & Portrait Photographer

Ahhh! It's Saturday! Sorry, for the delay folks. Yesterday was a crazy day. It actually felt like Tuesday yesterday to me. Weird. Yes. I am SO glad it wasn't Tuesday yesterday because I did NOT want to have to get up this morning! haha! This week has been long and at the same time it has felt short as well. Long because it is SO.COLD.OUT. Burrrr. Like yesterday when I got in my car (at 530am) it was -7!

So, on these cold evenings I have been going through the weddings that I didn't have time to blog last year. Oooppss. These are some of the weddings that I shot with Kayla! This wedding took place in the Milwaukee area. The couple, attendants, and reception hall were all amazing! Take a sneak peak:

I love jumping photos like this one. oooooh yes I do :) It took us like 3 or 4 tries to get this shot but we got it in the end :D

Enjoy your weekend!

Foto Friday :) | Sheboygan Wedding & Portrait Photographer

Happy Friday everyone! Boy am I glad it is Friday. I feel like this week took fooooorrreeeevvveeeerrrr to get to Friday. Maybe its because I had a 10 day stay-cation from my other job. Who knows. But, I have to say I am SUPER excited for this weekend! I am going to be at the Stephanie H. Weill Center on Sunday for the Lasting Impressions Bridal Fair! I will be giving away a free engagement session and I may just have some other deals up my sleeve :) So...brides...stop on by! :D:D

Also, in 2011 I want to try to do a 365 project or 52 week project AND a 2 people 12 times. More on the 2 people 12 times in another post :) So...this is my first entry of Foto Friday 2011 :)

Today's foto is....

tri-folds
These little 5x5 tri-folds are my new brochures! They were so much fun to make! They came in the marketing package that I purchased. They also match my site and blog! I just love the look of them. They go so well with my logo

Happy Weekend!
Brides...I will see you all Sunday!

new year. new look. | Sheboygan County Wedding & Portrait Photographer

The day has finally come...
for an update to the site AND blog. :D:D
The blog...is still in the works so blogger will hold me over for a little while longer.
I can't tell you how exciting this has been for me. I searched FOREVER for something that I liked. Then...my fabulous fiance said  he would make me one. Saaa-wweeeet! So...I found a marketing set online that I loved. Bought that...then from that I made the images for the site. Oh yes. Was it difficult?...kinda. Only because I had to pickout images to put in the header. Then I had to make the header. Then I had to make the buttons and add on the other little touches. AND THEN I had to have content to fill it! Whew! After that Mike did some handy CSS work and built the whole thing.
From scratch.
And now...
BANG!
Done! Love it.
Stop by the website by clicking here.

In other news...I shot my first wedding of the year this past Saturday. :D It was beautiful. Great light, great people, small quaint ceremony. I got to use my new camera and the 16-35mm f/2.8 L lens that I rented. And let me tell you...I don't know HOW I have lived this long with out the 5D Mk II and that 16-35 mm lens. The lens is next on the list of things to buy. I rented it for a couple weeks to make sure that I would love it as much as I figured I was going to. Check this picture of the church out....

gorgeous huh??!!
and the beautiful flowers.

And lastly...Christmas...we had a great Christmas. This year was really laid back. We were able to just hang out with each other all day and for supper we went to Chinese with my mom and step dad. But...Mike got me an awesome [actually 2] present!! Check these out!!

Yesssssss those are lens coffee cups!! :D:D I just about jumped up and down when I opened these babies!

I have also been busy getting ready for the bridal fair this weekend! So excited for that!!

Enjoy the new digs! :DD
